As technology gets smarter, it's important for businesses to keep on top of the latest updates.
As such, at Walker Mower, we've employed the use of Revit into many of our recent projects, which allows for dynamic 3D modelling of technical designs; allowing for ease of inspection and understanding for all parties involved in a development.
3D modelling systems and software are becoming more widely used. As technology advances, so too does the world, and as a business, it's important to keep on top of those changes in order to meet client demands and needs. As such, adopting the services of 3D modelling systems is an essential aspect of any modern-day design business. At Walker Mower, we adopt the service of Revit, which allows for entire buildings or parts of buildings to be modelled and worked on in a 3D environment. This is an extremely useful change to standard 2D design, as it allows for a more tailored and intricate understanding of all areas of a building; giving contractors easy understanding of any potential clashing of services, but most importantly, giving clients and customers an accurate depiction of just what their development will look like upon completion, an aspect of design which goes a long way toward customer satisfaction.
Using 2D modelling, such as Revit, also allows for working alongside the BIM criteria. The BIM process eases the creation of 3D renders, 3D perspectives, detailed drawings and walkthroughs, by way of ensuring that all designs are produced in much the same way, following a set range of rules and regulations. By adopting 3D modelling software and following the BIM criteria, project design becomes far easier for all parties involved.
