Managing Director
David is the driving force behind Walker Mower. As Managing Director since 2011, David brings over 30 years of engineering experience to the table. His deep expertise in structural engineering, design management and M&E building services ensures that every project meets the highest standards.
David's hands-on approach and commitment to excellence make him a trusted leader and a key player in the company's success. His ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver outstanding results has earned him the respect of both clients and colleagues alike.
Emma Dando
Executive PA
Emma is the heart of Walker Mower's operations. Since joining in 2011, Emma has been the friendly face and reliable force behind the company’s smooth running. With a deep understanding of the construction industry and a keen eye for detail, she handles everything from business development to client relations with precision.
Emma’s dedication to supporting the team and her unwavering commitment to excellence ensure that Walker Mower runs efficiently, making her an invaluable part of the business. Sadie Bashford
Marketing Administrator
Sadie is a rising star at Walker Mower. Since joining the team in August 2020, she has quickly become an invaluable part of the admin team, handling everything from front-of-house communications to financial matters and always with a smile.
With strong digital marketing skills, Sadie brings a modern edge to the business, enhancing our online presence and client engagement. Her warm personality and keen understanding of the building services industry make her a delight to work with and a favourite among clients. Mohammad Islam
Building Services Electrical Engineer
Mohammad joined Walker Mower in 2023 as a Building Services Electrical Engineer, bringing with him a fresh enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn in our industry. Despite being new to the field, Mohammad has quickly mastered the art of electrical design, producing high-quality work that has impressed the entire team.
We’re thrilled to have Mohammad on board and excited to see how his skills in Electrical Engineering will continue to grow and contribute to the future of Walker Mower.
Jake Tagg
Trainee Electrical Engineer
Jake joined Walker Mower in 2021 as a trainee CAD technician, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong eagerness to learn in a completely new industry. Jake quickly adapted to CAD software and his natural talent for design work became apparent.
Since early 2023, Jake has been training to become an Electrical Engineer, applying his skills to both mechanical and electrical projects with impressive results. Having spent time working as an Electrician's Mate, Jake discovered a deeper passion for designing electrical systems. His dedication and enthusiasm make him a valuable addition to the team and we look forward to what his future may bring as he develops his skills in Electrical Engineering further.
Ammad Jamil
Mechanical Building Services Engineer
Ammad joined Walker Mower in 2022, bringing his expertise in mechanical engineering for both residential and commercial projects. Ammad is a hard-working individual approaching all projects with enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
Since joining the team, he has played a key role in various projects, demonstrating a dedication to maintaining high engineering standards in both design and problem-solving.

James Catmull
Junior Mechanical Engineer
James joined Walker Mower in 2023 as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, diving into a completely new industry with enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. In a short time, James has taken on several mechanical projects, quickly mastering design work and producing high-quality results.
His dedication and quick learning have made him a valuable addition to the team. With aspirations of becoming an associate one day, James's excellent interpersonal skills and emerging leadership qualities are already setting him apart. We're excited to see how James will continue to grow and contribute to the future of Walker Mower.
Helen Jones
Accounts Manager
Helen officially joined the Walker Mower team in 2020, but she’s been the financial backbone of the company since 2011. With an AAT qualification and years of experience in the industry, including at a large design consultancy, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
In just her first year as a full-time member, she streamlined our financial processes and built strong client relationships. Helen’s dedication to precision and her knack for going the extra mile make her an invaluable asset.
James Hesmondhalgh
Building Services Apprentice
We are excited to introduce one of our new team members, James, he has recently joined the Walker Mower team as a Building Services Apprentice, who will no doubt bring a passion for learning and gaining valuable knowledge in the building services industry.
Recently leaving school gaining his GCSEs to take him to his apprenticeship at Lambeth College gaining his Level 3 where he can then gain experience and knowledge to take him to University.
We believe that James’ admiration for the Building Services industry aligns with our company goals and their fresh perspective will have a positive impact on our team. We look forward to seeing the great things James will accomplish in their new role.
Maciej Slimak
Building Services Apprentice
Maciej has recently joined the Walker Mower team as a Building Services Apprentice. Maciej has a passion to learn and eager to contribute to our ongoing projects.
Recently leaving school gaining his A-Levels, Maciej will be attending London Southbank University to carry out his apprenticeship here at Walker Mower.
